Squires
If you are brand new, please check out the following resource page for brand new participants and families. It has has a basic overview of the Lords & Ladies Program!
What is a Squire?
A Squire is the first Rank, or “level,” that any Sword Tag participant achieves. From this rank, all Squires will move on to achieve higher Ranks. The next rank in the sequence is Knight. Squires seek to understand and demonstrate the values of Respect and Self-Control. The Squire is the first rank in Lower Ranks, or the ranks that focus on learning and mastering the rules of Sword Tag.
How do i become a Knight?

S1. Squires must attend Lords & Ladies at least three times since they first started.
S2. Squires must know the Basic Rules.
S3. All Squires must be at least 7 years old to rank up. While games are usually only open to ages 7-17, some exceptions are made with the understanding that no participant will rank up until the age of 7.
Tip: You can print off this checklist as a reference! If you need more details, ask a Marshal or Warden to look at the Ranking Handbook.
